In our kids self-defense classes we play the What If game. Now it’s your turn.
“Make a different choice today! Your thoughts shape your actions and your reality.
What if you actually treated your body like the sacred temple it is? What if–even for one week–you didn’t drink alcohol, smoke cigarettes, eat processed Frank-N’-foods, didn’t drink soda and sugary juices?
What would happen if you eat copious quantities of vegetables, fruit, whole grains, grass-fed organic meat, wild seafood, nuts, seeds, olive and coconut oils, and drank 80 ounces of water a day? Remember: if you can pick it, pluck it, peel it, hunt it, catch it, or shoot it: EAT IT!
How would your body–the sacred temple–feel if you exercised at high intensity for at least thirty minutes a day four to six times per week? What if you got 8 luscious hours of sleep every night?
What if you accepted the concept that the brain believes anything we tell it? What would happen if you filled your thoughts with positive self-talk? Would you see that your thoughts shape and create your actions and alter your reality?
